Can we call the service directly through an api instead of from inside PhotoShop?

Hi,

This feature is planned to release winter 2018, but you will still be required to use Adobe.

LONGER ANSWER:
There are many detailed reasons why we do not offer direct parsing of your PSD/AI/INDD online, but the simple answer is Adobe changes frequently so its easier to maintain a product inside their code base.
