I'm not getting great results from the exporting Illustrator to HTML with the images. The png files are pretty pixelated. Can someone point me to which options I can adjust to get a sharper output of the images?

This is a simple fix. The plugin uses the Document settings to render, such as DPI. If you change your DPI settings in AI, it will use this when saving images.
