Depends on your situation!

YES – If You Remove or Rename Elements

When you remove or rename existing layers/folders, the assets they generate will still be present in your output folder. Although this will not always affect your output visually, you will always end up with extra assets.

EXAMPLE: If you have a website design, and you changed a page from "about" to "about-us". Your first export created the page "about" and your second export created "about-us". If you do not delete the ftml-www folder before you export, you will have "extra" assets.

NO – If You Add or Modify Elements

When you add new layers/folders or modify existing ones the will update the assets they generate.
