Why are my images partially captured in the output?« Back to Questions List

Have you heard of the issue where a layer is partially captured? I exported a theme where everything is concise but part of the bird in a twitter flat icon is completely missing in addition to other parts of the theme.

Does this have to do with the layers needing to be flattened or updated when opening photoshop as it's asking me that almost every theme (and I'm saying yes to updating but no to flattening).

Thanks

Yes

There are a few situations where ”image clipping” can happen, and its mostly related to scaling images rather than resizing them or complex vectors and shapes. In situations like this, the fastest way to deal with the issue is to:

a) convert it to a smart object
– or –
b) rasterize the layer

SVG Support for Vectors Coming Soon

Future versions will render SVG for polygons and complex vectors, but for now we ask that you convert them.
