Export Kit vs Web Export plugin for adobe XD« Back to Questions List

Hello I am a developer and the designer is making constant changes to the XD project.  I have been doing exports Web Export (free plug in with XD).  The html and CSS code Web Export generates is not very good.  It creates a new class for every component.  Its autonaming things and I get different names every time I regenerate so its very difficult to figure out from the HTML or CSS files whats changed.

The question is: Is the Export Kit export for web development bettter.  Is it worth the subscription cost.  Will it make my life easier?

Thanks for any information.  I would have like to try a free trial to see the code it outputs but haven't found a way to do that.

Regards

Hi,

We allow for advanced and complex project exports and give you total control. You will need to learn about https://exportkit.com/resources/plugin/layer-tags to add advanced features and functionality.

Try the plugin first (we are in free-usage mode) and ask specific questions as they arise.

Export Kit supports CS6-CC2020, so not sure if another plugin will be similar.
