The CEP Parameter Error
The Black Out Bug originates from a Legacy error with the Adobe CEP core, where sometimes elements are not correctly refreshed and mapped via scripting. This effects both Photoshop and Illustrator.
IMPORTANT: In Illustrator this error is Fatal
and you must close and reopen the application - in Photoshop Export Kit can recover from this error.
Testing the PSD
Use Layers views to see the code translation of each layer, or use Exports view to see the output of the document. This bug does not always happen, so you may not encounter it – if you do the quick fix is to use a Safe Black Color.
SAFE BLACK COLOR: #000100
Using Layers View
Select any shape element in the PSD, then select your desired view to see the code render of your shape.
Using Exports View
Export the PSD in your required environment to see how shapes are rendered in your output.
