The CEP Parameter Error
The Font Style Bug originates from a Legacy error with the Adobe CEP core, where sometimes elements are not correctly refreshed and mapped via scripting. This effects both Photoshop and Illustrator.
IMPORTANT: In Illustrator this error is Fatal
and you must close and reopen the application - in Photoshop Export Kit can recover from this error.
Testing the PSD

2. Select and copy the text inside your layer
3. Select the type tool
4. Draw a new text layer with the same size and position
5. Paste text contents inside the new text layer
6. Rename the new text layer to match the previous
7. Remove the previous text layer
