Android export stops at [SAVING] [strings.xml] with Illustrator« Back to Questions List
I installed the hot-fix and ran the Android UI export on the Illustrator file I sent you. It started running download the layers and it arrived at line number 144 where it says [SAVINGS] [strings.xml] and never finishes. I am assuming as it shows it your videos that on "OK" button should indicate that the entire process has been completed. I never see the "OK" button, so I just leave the exportkit window as is and check the export. The export looks like it has exported all the individual assets correctly but there are no android xml exports. I hope you are able to pull out some more magic and getting the Android UI working correctly. Once I see it work correctly, I will buy the product immediately. Hi, Android does not allow all character ranges, many common characters are not allowed. Your XML file contains the character [ ' ] and a single quote is invalid to Android XML, read more: //exportkit.com/answers/android-error-no-resource-found-that-matches-at-text-with-value-string.
