Figma JSON & SVG Export« Back to Questions List
Hi all, When I try and export a Figma project as a JSON file, and use the SVG option, the path string is not contained within quote marks, which invalidates the JSON file, and our JSON parser is unable to open the file. Is this a bug, or is there something else we are missing? Thanks |

Hi, sorry for that. Sometimes it can take 24-48 hours for a response depending on how busy they are. 1. Copy the file to your google drive (if too large for an email) 2. Send the file or link to support@exportkit |
What's the best way of sending you this file? I've tried contacting you by creating a support ticket, the contact us page, and Skype, but I've not had any responses. |
Hi, there are 2 solutions. 1) you can send us the file and our designers can figure out where the issue is -- or --2) we have other versions of the plugin with various updates but we are currently having issues with Figma and updating our plugin. Contact web support and they can help you to get a version for full SVG - this will require Figma desktop. |
They are already "single path" vectors in this file. Any idea when it might be fixed? Its a complete show stopper for us. |
Hi, congrats you found a bug! Or a "soon to release feature" depending on marketing ;). The plugin currently supports "single path" vectors. If your vector has multiple paths, it will not show in the output. FIX: ungroup or separate your vector into individual layers/paths |
